Funded Research Opportunities

Interested in receiving a scholarship to complete a research project of your choice? You came to the right place! Every year the Office for Student Research & Creativity (OSRC) offers (10) annual scholarships to undergraduate students and (6) to graduate students in the amount of $1,000 each, affording them the opportunity to conduct research or engage in creative works with a John Jay College faculty member over the course of an academic year. The annual Research Creativity Expo is a 10 day event featuring 460+ student presentations & performances led by faculty & mentors. Projects range from semester-long classroom assignments to long-term collaborations that lead to publications, theses or proposals.
