The PATT Micro-Grant provides a resource for faculty to purchase hardware and/or software for use in the classroom to improve pedagogy and learning. Upon completion of the project/testing of product, the grat recipent will be asked to provide a short video describing the technology and discussing how it was used in the classroom. The podcast and all evaluation materials will be hosted on the PATT website as a resource for all members of the college community to benefit from.
Faculty members wishing to participate in the program should email the PATT program on email below with a 1-page proposal, for approval by the PATT committee. In general, faculty members should expect an answer from the committee within two (2) weeks. Projects will be evaluated based on the impact on student success and the potential student reach. Projects that are approved will be listed on the John Jay Online Website.
