Research interests include: 1) synthesis and fluorescence studies of analogs of ninhydrin and genepin (in collaboration with Dr. E. Campeil); 2) drug of abuse detection by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (in collaboration with Dr. E. Campeil); 2) evaluation of the AFIX tracker program both for fingerprint and palm print analysis; 3) determination of the absolute configuration of ß-lactams based on a host/guest recognition methodology.
