Research interests include: 1) studies on human identification using traditional and mini PCR-STRs; 2) low copy number DNA; 3) mitotyping; 4) identification of genetic markers for disease; 4) plant and insect genotyping using Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism (AFLP); and 5) microbial forensics.
