Security Courses
The following security courses may be available for selection on a dual track daytime and evening:
Core Courses:
SEC 101 - Introduction to Security (may be excused based on life experience)
LAW 207 - Law for Security Personnel
Any three of the following:
PSC 207 - The Investigative Function
SEC 270/Math 210 - Security of Computers and their Data
SEC 210 - Methods of Security
SEC 211 - Security Management
SEC 310 - Emergency Planning
SEC 405 - Seminar in Security Problems
To receive a certificate in Security Management Studies, a total of 15 credit hours is necessary (each of the above courses represent 3 credit hours).
The certificate is awarded by the Department of Law, Police Science, and Criminal Justice Administration within the College.
Qualified applicants will be accepted for the Fall 2003 semester.
