John Jay College of Criminal justice Environmental Practices committee Excellent opportunity for student interested in environmental issues to develop a wide variety of skills by assisting in the establishment of environmental management at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.Potential Tasks (tasks can be varied according to the learning interests of the student): Research skills Work with a guide to analyze potential environmental improvements at the College: Organize materials for use on an environmental link for the College’s web site; Research to locate environmentally friendly supplies for the College People skills Help contact student organizations and newspaper for participation in activities; Help develop and co-ordinate Earth Day activities Technical Skills Create data base for recording environmental improvements and cost savings at the college Contact: Joan Hoffman, Economic Division Co-ordinator ext 8067 email jhoffman@jjay.cuny.edu
