A visual sociologist, Mildred Pollner is the President of Cinema Verite International Inc. and has produced and directed films throughout the former Soviet Union. She has lectured on Corruption and Addiction in Post Communist Societies and also on Mothers Wanted: Abandoned Children of Eastern Europe. Her interests also include critical feminist issues and women in Cuba.
