Estelle Schutzman has been teaching as an adjunct professor since 1989. She has taught at Kingsborough Community College, Borough of Manhattan Community College as well as John Jay College. She is a retired social worker, supervisor, and Director of Family Services at the Manhattan Psychiatric Center (1976-1991). She is an avid tennis player, swimmer, and grandmother of 13.
