STUDENT COUNCIL
Student Council is the representative and appropriating body of Student Government. Student Council is composed of twenty-nine members. There are four executives (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer), four class representatives of each year,  two transfer representatives, two international representatives and a council at large position. Student Council is responsible for disbursing Student Activities Fee funds, supporting the Essential services like the Yearbook, and representing and supporting the John Jay student community. Student Council follows the Charter of the Student Government in fulfilling its responsibilities.

JUDICIAL BOARD 
Student Council and the Board of Directors of the Student Activities Corporation appoint Judicial Board members. Judicial Board has the responsibility to supervise the Student Council, John Jay club, and Student Organization elections, certify student organizations, interpret John Jay’s Charter when called to do so, and hear charges of impeachment against Student Council members.

The Judicial Board of John Jay College of Criminal Justice serves as the Judicial Branch of the Student Government. This board consists of five (5) members; one (1) Chief Justice, one (1) Vice Chair, and three (3) Associate Justices. This board shall certify student clubs, hear and decide on all charges brought against executive officers and members of both; Student Council and Clubs Executives. And is permitted to moderate the Student Council elections.

COMMITTEE ON CLUBS
The Committee on Clubs is the first step in student organizations receiving money from the Student Activity Fee. The Committee on Clubs review budgets and make suggestions to the organizations before approving and passing the budgets onto Student Council.
