Academic Advisement Center
Advising staff help undergraduate students explore, define, and achieve their academic goals, discover in-class and out-of-class educational opportunities and become self-directed learners.
Student Academic Success Programs
Student Academic Success Programs (SASP) provides a network of programs and services designed to give undergraduate students unique opportunities and challenges at each stage of their undergraduate career.
Tutoring, workshops, and online resources to support students’ development in writing, mathematics, science, modern languages, and academic English.
Pre Law Institute
The Pre Law Institute prepares students for law school and the legal profession through academic skill-building programs and professional development initiatives.

The Office of Undergraduate Research supports undergraduate students doing research with faculty members
PRISM - Program for Research Initiatives in Science and Math
PRISM offers academic support to science and math students through its Junior Scholars Program, and also provides opportunities for students enrolled in the Forensic Science (FOS) and Computer Science and Information Security (CSIS) to do mentored research with members of our faculty through its Undergraduate Research Program.
John Jay College Honors Program
John Jay’s Honors Program brings together academically talented students to working close with distinguished faculty and advisors in a sequence of enriched, challenging and interdisciplinary courses.
Macaulay Honors College
Macaulay students at John Jay are selected from among the most highly competitive applicants to the City University of New York. Each student receives a full four-year tuition scholarship, a laptop, and $7500 to use toward study abroad, internships, or other academically enriching experiences.
Percy Ellis Sutton SEEK Program
SEEK is a New York State program at CUNY's senior and comprehensive colleges designed to assist students who are both academically and financially disadvantaged.
APPLE Corps is a partnership between John Jay and the New York Police Department that creates pathways for students working toward public service careers at the NYPD.
John Jay ACE
John Jay ACE helps eligible students graduate in four years and prepares them for future success. ACE students receive many benefits including free monthly MetroCards, textbook vouchers, tuition assistance, and personalized academic and career advising.
