About Us The John Jay College Testing Office is a part of the Department of Academic Affairs and coordinates and administers the City University (CUNY) Skills Assessment Test and the CUNY PROFICIENCY EXAM (CPE) for John Jay College students. The Testing Office works in coordination with CUNY-WIDE Testing. The John Jay College Testing Office's mission is to support the Testing Program mandated by the City University of New York.
