CUNY Skills Assessment Test (CSAT) Samples
Students must complete the assessment test prior to enrollment in courses. The test is a battery of three exams:
| 1. Reading: |
The CUNY/ACT COMPASS is a computerized reading multiple choice test. This exam is given without a set time limit at the Testing Office computer lab.

The CUNY/ACT Math COMPASS test requires parts 1, 2 and 3.

Starting in Spring 2003, Science major students and math certified students will be taking the CUNY/ACT COMPASS part 3 for placement purposes only.
