Non-Degree Application Deadlines:
Fall Semester – August 15
Winter Intersession – December 10
Spring Semester – January 10
Summer Session I – May 15
Summer Session II/III – June 15
We are no longer processing applications for Spring 2023.
If you are a New York State resident 60 years of age or older and have completed high school, you may attend John Jay College as an auditor for the college's undergraduate courses on a space available basis, without paying tuition.
Registration for senior auditors will begin approximately one month prior to the start of the semester. Please refer to the academic calendar for more information.
Steps to Apply as an Auditor:
1. Explore our Schedule of Classes to determine courses and sections being offered.
2. Complete your Non-Degree Senior Auditor application.
3. Submit verification of age with your application. Acceptable forms of proof of age include a valid driver’s license, birth certificate, U.S. passport, or Medicaid card.
4. Due to complications caused by COVID-19, the Office of Admissions is unable to accept documents by mail. Supporting documents should be sent to: admissions@jjay.cuny.edu
