While we won’t be able to host you on campus this Spring for orientation activities, we have put together a robust program for you to learn all about your new home – John Jay College! The sessions below will introduce you to campus life, important resources, and your new classmates.

How to Register for Your Orientation
After you submit your deposit to John Jay College of Criminal Justice, you will receive an email with a link to your New Student portal. This is your home base! Accessing the Online Orientation Portal, register for orientation, claim your email, setting up your John Jay Zoom account and much more.

How do I access the New Student Orientation
You will get an email with the New Student Portal. In this portal, you will find instructions for accessing your account, using your John Jay email, for the Online Orientation Portal along with the New Student Orientation Zoom Session schedule and the links to register for them. All sessions will be held on Zoom
Can I ask questions?
Definitely! We’ll have the live Q&A feature active in the Online Orientation Portal and all sessions, so ask away!
Will I be on video?
No, you won’t be on video for these sessions. Pajamas are a completely acceptable dress code.
Will I register for classes here?
No, these sessions are not registration. Please follow the steps in your admitted student portal to complete all enrollments steps.
Do I need to attend all of the sessions?
Yes, we request that you do attend all of the sessions to ensure a complete experience. We don’t want you to miss anything and want you to be prepared for the Fall.
Should I take notes?
Of course! We will also post videos of the orientations so that you can review them later.
