New Student Orientation (NSO) is an important experience for all new students, regardless of academic affiliation or major.  At NSO, you will have the opportunity to become familiar with campus resources and make connections with current students, faculty, and staff before beginning classes.  Because we know that participation in NSO can make a significant difference in your experiences as a John Jay student, all new students are expected to attend.

Your New Student Orientation has two parts: the first being the Online Orientation Portal and the second being the in person New Student Orientation sessions. Completing both parts of the New Student Orientation will ensure that you are prepared for your first semester at John Jay and connect with other new students!

All eligible students will get an email with the process on how to register for the in person sessions.
