John Jay Named a Top School for Veterans

John Jay College was selected as a Top Veteran School by US Veterans Magazine in recognition of its continued dedication and commitment to supporting veterans, military-connected students and their success. With over 600-veterans and military, John Jay College enrolls the most military-related students in the City University of New York. 
 
John Jay’s Military and Veteran Services supports military veterans, active-duty service members, reservists, guardsmen, officer candidates and their family members with veteran-focused programs and assistance. It provides student veterans with personal support through its on-site services, the student-led John Jay Veterans Association, new and expanded Veterans' Center spaces, our veteran honor society chapter and assistance from staff and faculty throughout the college. 

The Military and Veteran Services team actively backs veteran students throughout their college experiences with assistance in admission, enrollment and advisement; peer support; support for academic and personal success; veteran-focused academic courses; and job preparation, internship and post-graduation employment programming. 

John Jay was also recently ranked #3 nationwide for social mobility by US News & World Report, #5 nationwide in Best Value by the Wall Street Journal, #5 in the Northeast for Best Bang for the Buck by Washington Monthly and #11 nationwide in Best Hispanic Colleges by Excelencia in Education.
