Undergraduate Research Program
Our Undergraduate Research Program (URP) provides mentored research opportunities with John Jay Faculty to students majoring in science and math. It also provides professional advisement to students planning to pursue professional post-graduate education after John Jay.

Junior Scholars Program
The Junior Scholars Program provides academic support and personalized academic advisement to science and math students of any level at John Jay. This program is funded by the NYS-Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP). Learn more about eligibility and how to apply here .

CUNY Justice Academy for Forensic Science Majors
PRISM supports students enrolled in the CUNY Justice Academy (CJA) program at our partner community colleges who will transition into John Jay College to complete the forensic science major. To help facilitate this transition, PRISM  provides CJA students with advisement, assistance with course registration and exposure to science research programs while still at their community colleges.

Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math
The goal of Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (S-STEM) is to assist students in STEM fields who have unmet financial need to cover their tuition. S-STEM is funded by the National Science Foundation and can award up to $7500/academic year. Learn more about eligibility and how to apply here .
