Each summer, the Pre-Law Institute offers a four-month-long LSAT prep course. Using a variety of practice materials including actual LSAT exams, this course teaches the logic, reasoning, critical reading, and writing skills tested on the LSAT. Students selected for this competitive opportunity are given scholarships to participate; however, there is a one-time materials fee of $100.
The 2022 summer LSAT prep course is open to John Jay students and alumni in the classes of 2021, 2022 and 2023. Because we are funded by Undergraduate Studies, we are unable to accept applications from graduate students (except for those who graduated from John Jay with a bachelor's degree in 2021 or 2022).
