*A cohort of 50 students will be selected from the pool of eligible applicants.
About TTP Residency @ John Jay College
- A semester-long program designed to deliver qualified tech talent to local employers and short-term professional opportunities to competitive NYC undergraduates.
- Will help Upper-level Computer Science and Information Security (CSIS) majors at John Jay College to gain the technical and professional skills they need to land and succeed in top-tier Tech Roles in NYC after graduation, this includes, software developers, software engineers, web developers, mobile engineers, or related positions, including cybersecurity and information security roles, earn at least $65,000 per year, and are in-demand in New York City.
- Part of a broader portfolio of new and expanded programs developed by the NYC Tech Talent Pipeline and designed together with employer partners to equip New Yorkers with 21st century skills and deliver quality talent for employers.
- The TTP Program in conjunction with the Computer Science & Mathematics Department at John Jay will be hosting a number of technical and professional workshops throughout the Fall and Spring semesters. Attendance is required for consideration for the program as these workshops will build necessary skills that you will utilize in the bootcamp and internship environments.
