1. CAN I USE CASH TO PAY MY TUITION?

Yes—cash payments are accepted for tuition & fee payments.  For students paying large balances, it is recommended to use personal check, money order, certified bank check, or an eCheck (CUNYfirst).

2. HOW DO I PAY WITH CASH?

Cash is accepted at the Bursar’s Office in-person only!

  • In-person: The Bursar's Office is located in the New Building, RM: L.70.  First, obtain a B-ticket from the Jay Express kiosk.  A Bursar representative will then call the ticket number to process the transaction.

3. HOW IS A CASH PAYMENT RECORDED?

Cash is posted to the student record as a “Bursar Office Payment.”  The student will receive a receipt of the transaction after it has been processed.

4. I HAVE BURSAR HOLDS FOR MY PAST-DUE BALANCE.  CAN I USE CASH TO REMOVE IT?

Yes.  Bursar holds are removed immediately for past-due balances that are paid in full with cash.
