Bio

Teresa A. Booker is a political scientist and tenured Associate Professor.  She teaches courses in Africana Studies, ethnic studies and restorative justice. Her doctoral dissertation examined the strategies used to deliver humanitarian relief during Operation Lifeline Sudan. Her research interests include peacemaking and the implementation of public policy.   She has published in the peer-reviewed journals The National Journal of Urban Education and Practice, The International Journal of Restorative Justice, The Journal of Pan African Studies, and The International Journal of Regional and Local Studies.  She is the editor of Race and Urban Communities, a book published by The University of Akron Press.
