About Us

The Drs. Duane M. and Lily E. Christ Math & Science Resource Center (MSRC) at John Jay College of Criminal Justice is committed to empowering undergraduate students enrolled in Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science courses. As an academic support hub, we work in close collaboration with faculty and administration to foster student success through a wide range of services and resources.

Walk-in support is also available during regular hours.

MSRC Loan Program

Currently enrolled John Jay students with valid John Jay I.D. card with an additional form of collateral of equal value may borrow resources from our Center free of charge. Items must be returned during regular business hours the same day they are borrowed. Our resources include:

• Textbooks for specific courses
• Scientific and graphing calculators
• Molecular models
• Lab goggles
• Lab coats

Windows desktop computer Lab

Located within our suite in Room 1.94NB, the MSRC offers a fully equipped computer lab featuring new Dell desktop computers installed with the latest academic and productivity software.

Students are welcome to use the lab free of charge whenever it is not reserved for faculty or staff use. On-site printing is also available for student convenience.
