Students can sign up for one-on-one tutoring sessions through our Language+ program.

• If a student is not satisfied with their first exam grade and they want to improve their language skills, they can sign-up for the Language+ Program
• The program helps students improve & maintain successful learning strategies 
• Sessions are a dedicated hour-long weekly appointment, and they are scheduled until the end of the semester

How do I sign up?

After receiving the first exam grade, if a student is not satisfied with how they performed, they can reach out to the MLC directly (email languagecenter@jjay.cuny.edu, phone 212-484-1140, room 7.64 NB) for the sign-up period dates and request to sign up for the program. 

The MLC manager will help find the best appointment that fits the student's availability. The sessions will be scheduled in advance for the remainder of the semester. Students can also supplement their Language + appointment with additional tutoring sessions if they prefer.

Sign-up period:

• End of September - first two weeks of October for the Fall
• End of February - first two weeks of March for the Spring

Please note: There is limited space in the program.
