Fall 2026 Application will open December 2025. 

We will review applications starting in late October/early November, and admit students on a rolling basis until the deadline when all required documents are due. We recommend students apply before the deadline to get admitted early.

Students can submit their application as soon as they have completed all sections of the online application. The names of recommenders and the personal statement are required to submit the application. 

Once students submit their applications online, all official transcripts, test scores, and letters of recommendations must be emailed to graduateadmissions@jjay.cuny.edu.

CUNY students from 2004 to present do not need to provide CUNY transcripts.

International students should apply no later than November 1 to ensure timely processing of admissions and student visa paperwork processing. International students can continue to apply after this date until the final application deadline noted above and will be processed if time allows.

If students are admitted with unofficial transcripts, they will need to provide our office with official transcripts directly from their BA degree noted institution before January 5th, 2026.
