Undergraduate and Graduate Readmission Below Academic Standard Policies and Procedures

Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students who have earned a grade point average less than 2.00 on a 4.00 scale must have their academic records reviewed for readmission consideration. The Undergraduate Readmission Committee reviews all records for undergraduate students who have applied for readmission to the College and whose grade point average is less than 2.00. The Readmission Committee is chaired by the Registrar and consists of representative members of the college community.

The Undergraduate Readmission Committee reviews each application and determines eligibility. The established deadline to reapply for readmission for the Fall semester is July 21st and for the Spring semester December 1st of each year. If the Committee is in favor of a student’s eligibility for readmission, the student is either referred to the Academic Advisement Office (non-SEEK students) or a SEEK Counselor (SEEK students). Students will be notified by email to schedule a mandatory readmission advising session where the course schedule for the subsequent semester is discussed along with academic and personal planning.

For approved applications, course registration appointments (date and time) will be available on CUNYFirst. Other academic requirements must be adhered to as recommended by the advisor. Please note, students must resolve all the stops on their account prior to course registration.

Graduate Students
