RE: John Jay has Transitioned to Microsoft 365 (M365) Email
I am pleased to announce that John Jay has transitioned all faculty, staff, student, alumni and retiree email to Microsoft 365 (M365). As of this morning, all faculty, staff and students have access to tools such as OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Co-Pilot AI Chat.
As of late yesterday evening all new email messages are now being delivered to M365 / Outlook.com.
If you need help setting up Outlook step-by-step guides for desktop and mobile devices are available on the M365 Email Migration webpage.
Instructions on how to access shared email were sent to owners over on December. Please refer to these messages for instructions on how to gain access to these accounts.
Email is still being migrated for Alumni that used the accounts in last 18 months. These mailbox should be fully migrated in the next 3-5 weeks.
Mailing lists are still being recreated in M365 and should be available by early next week (i.e. AA_FT)
Email updates are still happening. If recent messages are missing, no action is needed—content will update automatically before the start of the spring semester.
