RE: Tracking of Employee Professional Development Activities - Reminder

As a reminder, CUNY remains committed to the professional development of all faculty and staff university-wide. Continued training and education can positively impact employee career progression, help employees develop new skills, and make employees feel like a valuable contributor on their teams.

As part of CUNY’s university-wide strategic initiative regarding professional development opportunities for employees, the UHR Professional Development & Learning (PDL) Office is tracking all employee professional development activities on a consistent basis. Employees are therefore encouraged to log all their professional development activities by completing the CUNY Professional Development Tracking Form as soon as practicable after each activity.

This includes any professional development activity hosted by CUNY or external vendors, including webinars, in-person sessions, conferences, LinkedIn Learning programs, Lunch and Learns, etc. Please note that DCAS trainings do not need to be entered in this form. Completed forms must also include a certificate of completion or a confirmation of attendance.

For any questions about the form, please contact the PDL office via email at University.Training@cuny.edu.
