Bio
Sadie Huang is a lecturer in the Department of Counseling and Human Services at CUNY - John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She also serves as the Program Director and Academic Advisor for the Health, Wellness, and Physical Education minor. Sadie holds a master’s degree in Psychology in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, with a concentration in Spirituality Mind Body practices. Her professional background includes training as a trauma-informed yoga instructor and certification as a neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) practitioner.
Additionally, she is the faculty advisor for WomXn Who Workout (WWW) and an active board member for the Student Activities Association Board of Directors (SAABD) and Budget Committee, as well as the Faculty Senate Technology Committee (FACTECH).
Lastly, Sadie is the founder of Inner Armor™ where she delivers mindfulness and positive psychology interventions for our frontline officers, first responders, and veterans to face day-to-day challenges, combat work-related stress, prevent and/or delay the impact of work-related trauma, and more.
