Meet Zuliana Loaiza!

Hi everyone! I’m Zuliana, but most people call me Zuli. I’m a junior honors student majoring in Toxicology with plans to pursue pharmacy school. 

This past summer, I completed my first research internship as a McNair Scholar at Clarkson University, and I’m excited to continue research with Dr. Champeil through PRISM’s Undergraduate Research Program. 

Outside of academics, I love coffee shop hangouts, yoga, and baking with my sister. I’ve learned a lot about navigating life as a science student at John Jay, and I’m excited to meet, share, and support you as a peer mentor!
