Resubmission
If your proposal is not successful, don’t give up! Resubmission is the best predictor of future success.
- Consider reviewer feedback. While rejection isn’t easy, reviews are meant to be constructive. If you don’t receive reviewer comments back, ask the sponsor for any feedback, or ask if a call is possible to debrief.
- A revision and resubmission may be appropriate to this or another program. Speak with sponsored programs staff on next steps.
- It may also be helpful to serve as a peer reviewer if you haven’t already done so (get to know the review process so you can revise your proposal based on your experience serving on a review panel!).
