The Pre-Law Institute and the Department of Political Science offer a clinic internship program in partnership with multiple District Attorneys' Offices across New York City. The Prosecution Clinic provides an invaluable clinical experience for students to intern at a District Attorney’s Office. Students intern one day per week, working side by side with Assistant District Attorneys and paralegals in a District Attorney’s Office, and take Political Science 277 (3 credits).
The application period for the Fall 2025 Prosecution Clinic is now closed. Applications for Spring 2026 will open in October 2025 here: Pre-Law Institute.
The Pre-Law Institute and the Department of Political Science offer a clinic internship program in partnership with multiple government legal agencies across New York City. The Public Interest Clinic provides an invaluable clinical experience for students to work alongside attorneys responsible for some of the City’s regulatory functions. Placement sites may include the Taxi and Limousine Commission Prosecution Division, Law Department, Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, and the Buildings Department. Students intern one day per week and take Political Science 277 (3 credits).
