Fall Events


Fall Grad Fair (Summer 2025 and Fall 2025 Graduates ONLY)
Wednesday, December 10, 2025 in the Student Dining Hall
1:40pm-2:55pm 

Fall Grad Fair is hosted for eligible summer/fall graduates to visit with commencement-related vendors such as Fond Memories (diploma plaques) and Oak Hall (cap & gown, etc.), Balfour (class ring), and various campus offices that are helpful to students who are graduating. The Office of Student Transition Programs will be at check-in to answer questions about commencement. Light refreshments will be provided.

Spring Events


Spring Grad Fair (Winter and Spring 2026 Graduates ONLY)
Wednesday, March 4, 2026 in the Student Dining Hall
1:40pm-2:55pm OR 4:30pm-6:00pm

Spring Grad Fair is hosted for eligible winter/spring graduates to visit with commencement-related vendors such as Fond Memories (diploma plaques) and Oak Hall (cap & gown, etc.), Student Council (giveaways), and various campus offices that are helpful to students who are graduating. The Office of Student Transition Programs will be at check-in to answer questions about commencement. Light refreshments will be provided.

Grad Brunch & Bingo
Friday, May 1, 2026 in the Student Dining Hall
1:40pm-2:55pm

Grad Brunch & Bingo invites all eligible graduates to have brunch together and partake in a few rounds of bingo. Game winners will get various prizes such as a cap & gown, a diploma plaque, sports tickets, etc.

Registration isn't opened at this time.

Graduate Salute
Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in Hound Square
1:00pm-6:00pm

Graduate Salute invites all eligible 25-26 graduates to participate in a grad fair where the College celebrates your upcoming accomplishments as a graduating Bloodhound before the commencement ceremony! There will be refreshments, yearbook pick up, giveaways, the chance to speak to various vendors, headshots, and more.

No registration needed. Bring a photo ID for check-in. 

In addition, for those who qualify (check your DegreeWorks), this will also be an opportunity to pick up Latin Honor cords. For inquiries regarding your eligibility for Latin Honors, please contact RegistrarAudit@jjay.cuny.edu.

  • Cum Laude (with distinction), awarded to students whose cumulative GPA is at least 3.5
  • Magna Cum Laude (with great distinction), awarded to students whose cumulative GPA is at least 3.75
  • Summa Cum Laude (with highest distinction), awarded to students whose cumulative GPA is at least 3.9
