Faculty Members on College Council
2025-26
The College Council, the College’s governance body, comprises 50 members: 30 faculty members; 6 senior administrators; 10 students; and 4 higher education officers.
Each year in May, each academic department elects a full-time faculty member of its department to represent it on both the College Council and the Faculty Senate. Currently there are 21 academic departments. The remaining faculty seats are filled by the Faculty Senate, which elects them from among its at-large representatives. The Senate may also elect up to 8 alternate members of the College Council.
