RE: Introducing the John Jay CUNYWork Resource Page
As CUNY continues its implementation of the CUNYWork project, we are pleased to introduce the John Jay CUNYWork Resource Page, your central source for information and updates about this important University-wide initiative.
Launching in late 2027, CUNYWork will modernize the University's Human Resources and Finance systems by implementing Workday, creating a more streamlined, integrated, and user-friendly experience for employees across the University. Workday will replace the HR and Finance components of CUNYfirst, such as payroll, time and leave, procurement, budgeting, and financial reporting. Additionally, all CUNY employees will use Workday for employee self-service functions.
At John Jay, our Campus Project Team is actively supporting the implementation effort and serving as the College's liaison with the University-wide CUNYWork project team to help ensure a successful transition for our campus community. Our team is committed to sharing updates as more information becomes available about how those processes will change and how it affects your daily work.
The John Jay CUNYWork Resource Page provides links for convenient access to project information and resources, including:
The latest project updates and announcements
The CUNYWork project timeline
Information about the University-wide and John Jay Campus Project Teams
Workday Unlock series
Recordings of Roadshow information sessions
We encourage all faculty and staff to visit and bookmark the page, explore the available resources, and check back regularly as new information becomes available. We also encourage you to watch the Workday Unlock videos, participate in future information sessions, and stay engaged throughout the implementation process.
We are excited to hear from you. Please feel free to share any questions or comments about the project or the resources available, by contacting us at JJC_CUNYWork@jjay.cuny.edu .
Thank you for your partnership and engagement as we prepare for this important transformation.
