The Master of Arts in International Crime and Justice prepares students to confront the challenges of crime across borders. The program blends international law, policy, and technology, covering areas such as cybercrime, human rights, transnational organized crime, and comparative justice systems. Students study issues like human trafficking, wildlife trafficking, money laundering, cyber threats, and serious human rights abuses. Through this work, they develop strong research and problem‑solving skills to help improve global security and support international cooperation.
Make a global impact, shape justice everywhere!
For those who want to solve problems and strengthen global justice!
WHY an MA Degree in IC&J?
Through 36 credits of core and elective coursework, students gain the knowledge and skills needed to earn the Master of Arts in International Crime and Justice. Graduates of the program will be able to:
- Integrate interdisciplinary knowledge to explain the causes and consequences of crime and to analyze and assess the functions of institutions, mechanisms, and processes in international criminal justice, as well as related legal and policy developments worldwide.
- Critically analyze and apply research methods in international crime and justice, particularly in planning and executing applied research projects.
WHY Advanced Certificate in Transnational & Cyber Organized Crime Investigations (ACT-COI)?
The ACT-COI is a standalone credential consisting of four courses, which may also count as elective credits toward the Master of Arts in International Crime and Justice. The certificate focuses exclusively on the study of transnational crime.
- Both programs are available in person at our New York City campus or online, with admissions offered in both the fall and spring semesters.
- Graduates have advanced their careers in law enforcement, victim and offender services, criminal justice reform, international organizations, and the private financial and security sectors.
