The International Crime and Justice Master of Arts and Criminal Justice PhD Program cordially invites you to:
Human Trafficking in the Digital Age: Exploring New Frontiers in Exploitation & Prevention
This event will address the increasing connection between technology, human trafficking, and exploitation, highlighting how digital platforms and cyber tools are transforming both criminal activities and anti-trafficking efforts. As technological innovation accelerates, governments, civil society, and international organizations face new challenges in safeguarding vulnerable populations and preserving the integrity of justice systems.
Building on these vital issues, the discussion will gather scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and graduate students to explore recent developments and responses in the anti-trafficking field. Panelists will discuss emerging trends such as cyber-enabled trafficking networks, the use of encrypted communication and digital payment systems, and innovative technologies being employed to identify victims, disrupt criminal operations, and support survivors.
*The event is FREE, but space is limited. Please fill out one RSVP form per attending. A light dinner will be served. Register
