Program Description

John Jay College’s affiliated program through the University of Westminster London International Summer School is open to all majors. The University of Westminster lies at the heart of the city of London and has an international curriculum which is combined with a unique London focus. By choosing to study in London, students will be deciding to come to one of the most exciting cities in the world, one which is cosmopolitan and home to a distinctive history and culture. This is your opportunity to immerse yourself in the life and living history of this world class city and become a part of the University of Westminster’s unique London story. Students will reside in Halls of Residence in central London, which are in self-catering blocks of single rooms (no roommate). The halls all have a secure swipe-card entry system, a 24-hour security presence, and wireless internet.

Through this affiliate program, students enroll directly in one or two modules at University of Westminster for transfer credit. Each module runs for a 3-week session, and students can participate in either or both sessions. Students are able to choose from a variety of liberal arts courses offered through the Summer School. These classes allow you to experience the liberal arts, with a focus on London. Classes range from the history of the monarchy to the notorious serial killer Jack the Ripper.

A fall or spring semester option is also available via the University of Westminster semester program.

Students from all majors are encouraged to apply.
