RE: Passing of Raymond Foureau
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our colleague, Raymond Christopher Foureau, IT Support Assistant in the Information Technology Department at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York. Raymond passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026.
Raymond was a valued member of the John Jay community for more than 11 years. He began his career at the College as a College Assistant before advancing to the role of IT Support Assistant.
As a member of the Classroom and Lab Support Services team, Raymond played an important role in supporting the technology that supports teaching, learning, and student success at John Jay. His work included maintaining classroom technology, supporting computer labs, assisting with the student laptop loan program, and ensuring the reliable day-to-day technology services that faculty, staff, and students depended upon.
Raymond's dedication, and quiet contributions helped make a meaningful difference to our campus community. He will be remembered by colleagues across the College who had the privilege of working with him.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Raymond's family, friends, colleagues, and all who knew and cared for him.
All who wish to pay their respects and share memories are welcome to attend the memorial service. Additional details are provided below.
