PSY MA Student News

All students enrolled in the PSY MA program are added to the PSY MA Student Listserver upon matriculation to their degree program. This is the primary communication channel for our master's psychology programs. 

Communication includes but is not limited to: advisement, required Registrar forms, graduation requirements, certificate opportunities, program requirement refreshers, enrollment tips, overtally policy, excellence fee information, externship/employment opportunities, department events, and more. 

Current students are expected to remain subscribed to the Listserver for the duration of their time in the program and review ALL emails sent thoroughly. Alumni are highly encouraged to stay subscribed, as employment and other relevant opportunities may apply. If you are not receiving Listserver emails or accidentally unsubscribed, please contact the PSY MA Admin office with your John Jay email and EMPLID.

The PSY MA Newsletter is distributed monthly, and the PSY MA Community Event Digest is distributed weekly to keep up-to-date on community events.

Why It's Important to Stay Subscribed

The PSY MA Student Listserver is the official source for vital program information. Missing emails may affect your registration, advisement, or program standing. Alumni are also highly encouraged to remain subscribed, as information relevant to graduates—including opportunities and updates—are regularly shared.

Produced by the PSY MA Administrative Department, these newsletters provide themed updates, important academic dates, highlights from students and faculty, and information about campus resources.
