Dr. Krystel Salandanan is a licensed clinical psychologist based in New York City with experience teaching graduate courses and facilitating workshops on a wide range of psychology-related topics. She has a Psy.D. from the Wright Institute in Clinical Psychology and bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology from the University of Washington. She has specialized experienced in behavioral therapies, mindfulness-based techniques, behavioral medicine/health psychology, and multicultural psychology. Her clinical interests include personality disorders, trauma, emotion regulation disorders, chronic disease management, and working with historically marginalized communities of color. In addition to teaching, she works as a psychotherapist in behavioral medicine working in a wide range of medical clinics throughout the five boroughs.
