Bio

Lindsay Timmington is a playwright and adjunct professor who holds her MFA in playwriting and perforamnce from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and studied acting at East 15 Acting School in London.  Lindsay currently teaches at La Guardia Community College and John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Additionally, Lindsay is the Region 1 Vice Chair of the Irene Ryan Scholarship at KCACTF.  Lindsay has worked as assistant director to Peter Brosius at the Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis, as well as Workhouse Theatre Company, Theatre Limina, and St. Anthony Theatre in Minneapolis. Lindsay's plays,The Virgin Diaries and Dressing Room were critically lauded as part of the 2003 and 2005 Minnesota Fringe Festival. Her newest play Squirrel Screams and Other Dating Soundswill premiere at the Madison Theatre in Long Island, June of 2022. Her writing has been featured on Onstage Blog, The Elephant Journal and Good Men Project.
