Help for Students
Whether you’re new to John Jay or continuing your journey, it’s normal to have questions or need a little extra support along the way. That’s where we come in!
Here’s how we can help you:
- Staying on top of classes and assignments while juggling all your responsibilities
- Setting goals and staying motivated - especially leading up to midterms and finals
- Figuring out how to use campus resources and understand academic policies
- Understanding feedback from your professors - and using it to improve
- Talking through any challenges you’re facing - but also celebrating your wins!
These are just a few ways we can help. If you’re unsure, follow our instagram @SASPCoaches to read about the comeback stories of other students!
Your Peer Success Coach will be in touch with you throughout the semester. You can stop by L2.75NB to meet with a coach or get connected to one.
If you’re in a First Year Seminar or Transfer Seminar, you already have a Peer Success Coach assigned to your class. They’ll be visiting weekly, so don’t be shy! Say hi in class or when you see them around campus.
