Panelists
Daniela Gennrich
Daniela is a seasoned feminist activist with over 40 years of experience in Gender Justice and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) with focus on the Christian and interfaith sectors. Currently, she serves as the Coordinator of the We Will Speak Out South Africa Coalition, which leads national and international efforts to combat GBV through interfaith collectives like the Faith Action Collective to End GBV and Side by Side. She has co-published numerous works on faith, gender, and GBV, including a joint Interfaith Statement and South Africa’s first national Interfaith GBV Prevention and Mitigation Strategy. Despite South Africa's progressive stance on gender issues, significant challenges remain, and Daniela emphasizes the need for accountability within the faith sector while recognizing diverse faith-based and other transformative initiatives emerging in the country.
Patsilí Toldeo
Patsilí Toledo is a lawyer and holds a PhD in Public Law. She is a member of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), where she serves as Co-Chair of the Working Group on Gender-Based Violence against Women. She is an adjunct lecturer and researcher in the fields of gender and criminal justice, with a focus on femicide and sexual violence. As a consultant, she drafted CEDAW General Recommendation No. 35 (2017) on gender-based violence against women and has con ducted various studies on gender and justice for UNODC, UN Women, OHCHR, among others.

Jana Arsovska
Dr. Arsovska is an Associate Professor of Sociology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is the current director of the Master of Arts Degree Program in International
Crime & Justice and the Advanced Certificate in Transnational Organized Crime at the
same College. Dr. Arsovska is a faculty of the Program of Doctoral Study in Criminal
Justice at The Graduate Center, CUNY, as well as a research associate at the Center
for Cybercrime Studies. Her research focuses on gender and transnational crime,
human and drug trafficking, and cyber organized crime. Dr. Arsovska is the co-PI of a
National Institute of Justice grant that focuses on darknet drug markets. Over the years
she has acted as a consultant for various organizations, including the World Bank,
U.N.O.D.C, and DCAF. She has served as a lead instructor on transnational and cyber
organized crime for numerous law enforcement training courses funded by the Bureau
for Justice Assistance (BJA) and the Organization of American States (OAS).
