6. I HAVE A PAST-DUE BALANCE/BURSAR HOLD.  CAN I USE A SCHOLARSHIP TO CLEAR IT?

If your intention is to use a college scholarship to pay for your semester, please ensure that all awards have been authorized as pending payments or "Anticipated Aid" on your tuition bill.  If you do not see it reflected, you should contact Financial Aid's Scholarship Office for additional information.

If your intention is to use an outside scholarship to pay for your semester, please ensure to inform the Bursar's Office before the semester begins.  You will also be required to provide documentation (see #2-4 above).

Be advised that if your scholarships do not cover the full cost of tuition/fees and there are no other funding sources, you are responsible for paying the remaining balance in full.  This payment must be made before your hold status can be reviewed.
