Tuition refunds and/or tuition liabilities are calculated in accordance with the refund policy for those students who officially drop a class or classes during the first three weeks of the semester. The University schedule should be used to determine the amount of refund (or reduction in amount of tuition liability) due to any student.
COURSES DROPPED PRIOR TO THE FIRST OFFICIAL DAY OF THE SEMESTER
- If the tuition bill is fully or partially paid and all courses have been dropped, the student is entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees, excluding non-refundable application/commitment fees. If no payments were submitted and all courses have been dropped, the bill will recalculate itself to reflect ($0.00).
COURSES DROPPED ON OR AFTER THE FIRST OFFICIAL DAY OF THE SEMESTER; 25%-100% LIABILITY PERIOD
- Students are partially liable/partially refunded for the cost of tuition, which is based on the drop dates established by the CUNY/JJC Academic Calendar. Student fees are charged 100% and are non-refundable. Below is a duplication of the information outlined in the Academic Calendar.
