AKD- International Sociology Honor Society: Beta Theta of New York Chapter-John Jay College
[Note: The department of Sociology will run a query and contact eligible students]
To become a member of Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD) you must have the following:
- Enrolled as a major in Sociology or Criminology
- Be at least a junior (third year) in class standing
- Achieved at least a 3.3 overall Grade Point Average Rank
- Maintained a 3.0 GPA in sociology courses taken at John Jay prior to initiation
- Completed at least four courses in sociology at John Jay prior to initiation
