Beyond Borders: Nicole Anna Krazk’s Study Abroad Journey

Nicole Anna Krazk – Fall 2025 Australia Study Abroad Collage

During the fall 2025 semester, SEEK student Nicole Anna Krazk traded the familiar for the extraordinary, spending her sophomore semester studying abroad on the Sunshine Coast in Australia. While there, she immersed herself in courses aligned with her Forensic Psychology major and Counseling minor, including social psychology, general chemistry, theories of counseling, and history of humanity. Experiencing a new academic system challenged Nicole to step outside her comfort zone, sharpen her critical thinking skills, and view her studies through a more global lens.

Beyond the classroom, Nicole embraced every opportunity to explore. She traveled to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and to Tokyo and Osaka in Japan, while also discovering some of Australia’s most iconic destinations Sydney, Cairns, the Whitsundays, and Airlie Beach. Each journey strengthened her confidence as she navigated unfamiliar cities, engaged with diverse cultures, and adapted to new environments.

For Nicole, studying abroad was more than a semester away it was a transformative chapter of growth and discovery. The experience broadened her worldview, deepened her cultural understanding, and fostered a new level of independence that will continue to shape her academic and professional journey.
