Greetings, Bloodhound Community!

 The Student Government petitions will be available beginning Tuesday, January 27^th, 2026, for interested students to run for the 2026-2027 academic year. The following positions are open for Student Council: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Class representative positions, College Council, University Student Senate, and Faculty Student Disciplinary Committee. Review the Charter of the Student Government to gain a deeper understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the John Jay Student Government. 

Interested students must stop by during petition office hours listed below to pick up their petition packet and a copy of the election guidelines from the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership (CSIL) in L2.71NB.
 

Student Council Election Petition Office Hours

Tuesday, January 27th, 2026, through Friday, February 27th, 2026

Please note that the college is closed on Thursday, February 12^th, 2026, and Monday, February 16^th, 2026.

Petitions for all positions must be submitted on or before Friday, February 27th, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in CSIL (L2.71NB).
