The Honorable Denise M. Miranda, Esq., Commissioner of the New York State Division of Human Rights, in conversation with President Karol V. Mason
In May 2025, the New York State Senate confirmed Commissioner Miranda to lead the New York State Division of Human Rights where she works to eliminate discrimination, remedy justice and promote equal opportunity and dignity of all New Yorkers. Commissioner Miranda is a seasoned public servant and holds a BA from New York University and a JD from St. John’s University.
