Dr. Corinna Mullin is an adjunct lecturer in the Political Science and Economics departments at John Jay College and Brooklyn College (CUNY) and was one of the three - of the original "Fired Four"- who were recently reinstated (3 back, 1 to go!).
She earned her PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics in 2008 and then moved to Tunisia, where she taught at the University of Tunis for five years. Her research focuses on international political economy, Marxist and anti-imperialist theory, the legacies of colonialism and neocolonialism, and the politics of development and dependency in the Maghreb and West Asia, with particular attention to labor and land struggles. Corinna has been an active member of the PSC‑CUNY, serving as a Delegate Assembly representative and on the Steering Committee of the union’s International Committee. She is also an Associate Editor of the journal Science & Society and the magazine Pen is My Machete.
